Built on Heart. Driven by Purpose.
Veteran Mustang Mission was created from a simple but powerful belief: Healing doesn’t always happen the way we’ve been taught.
For too many veterans, the transition home is filled with invisible battles ones that aren’t easily explained, and even harder to resolve through traditional methods.
At the same time, American mustangs; wild, powerful, and deeply intuitive; are often misunderstood, displaced, and left without purpose. We saw two stories that needed each other.

Healing Veterans.
Saving Mustangs. Restoring Trust.
Meet Our Founder, Angela Marshall
Founder | Veteran | Horsewoman
Angela Marshall is the founder of Veteran Mustang Mission and a proud U.S. Army veteran who served nearly eight years as a Field Artillery Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO). During her military career, she served with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, and deployed to Afghanistan before medically retiring with a 100% service-connected disability.
Inspired by her own experiences after military service, Angela created Veteran Mustang Mission to provide veterans with a different path to healing. By partnering veterans with wild American mustangs, she is building a place where trust is restored, purpose is rediscovered, and both veterans and horses are given a second chance.
Healing Veterans. Saving Mustangs. Restoring Trust.
What We Stand For
At Veteran Mustang Mission, everything we do is rooted in a set of core values that guide how we serve, how we show up, and how transformation happens.
